Why Cervical Cancer Screening Matters

This year, the Faculty of Education, in partnership with the Centre for Student Health and Wellness (C-SHAW), is raising funds for cervical cancer screenings for UJ students.

Each screening costs just R200 per student.

With your support, we can provide life-saving access to early detection for our students.

In addition, the campaign supports sustainable solutions to period poverty for schoolgirls through reusable pads, menstrual cups, and period panties.

We invite all UJ staff to sponsor one or more screenings and make a direct impact on the health, dignity, and futures of young women.
